Call: Participation aid for graduate students and early career scholars

The organizing committee of VIII International Seminar on Border Studies is pleased to announce that the Association for Borderlands Studies (ABS) is sponsoring five grants of US$300 to graduate students or early career researchers/colleagues from non-OECD countries to present papers at Corumbá, Brazil. The organization of the event complements this aid by waiving the registration for the event. Details about the seminar can be found in https://sef-cpan.ufms.br/viii/

Those interested should send the accepted work and a one-page letter of intent to Adriana Dorfman (adriana.dorfman@ufrgs.br ) and Karla Müller (kmmuller@ufrgs.br) until August 18, 2023.

The results will be announced on August 21, 2023.

The certificates and the grants will be delivered after the presentation of the papers at the seminar.
